new smartphone called Zopo Hero 1 has been announced officially in India for INR 12,000. In this price range, the phone brings decent specs to the table. The Hero 1 features a 5-inch HD screen and carries a 1.3GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6735 CPU. It runs Android 5.1 out of the box and gets 2GB of RAM with 16GB of internal expandable storage.

Talking about the camera, the Zope Hero 1 gets a 13.2MP rear camera with 5P lense and a 1/3.06 size sensor. The front camera is a 5MP sensor with a 3P lens. The phone is juiced by a 2500mAh removable battery and sports 4G connectivity with dual SIM slots.

Kevin Xu, the founder of Zopo, said, “We have a constant eye on the customer demand and behavior, based on which we design and structure out smart devices. We do not believe in loading redundant features on a device that a user would never use. Bearing this in mind, the new Hero 1 simplifies life for people with its minimalistic yet futuristic features for people with smart and uncomplicated needs.”
