Panasonic has been keeping us busy with its smartphone launches over the past few weeks. It recently launched the Eluga Note and the T44 Lite. Adding to its vast arsenal of smartphones, the Japanese just launched its latest mid-range smartphone Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 in the Indian market. The device is the successor of the Eluga Arc and has been priced Rs. 12,290.
The Eluga Arc 2 flaunts a premium body which is built mostly of CNC Aluminium and minimal plastic. As for the specs, the device sports a 5-inch HD On-Cell Touch display with 2.5D curved glass and Asahi Dragontrail protection. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. The device offers 32GB of inbuilt storage which can be further upgraded up to 128GB via microSD card and packs a 2450mAh battery.
In the camera department, the Eluga Arc 2 sports an 8MP primary rear shooter and a 5MP lens on the front for selfies and video chat. The device runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports dual SIMs. Among other notable features is the 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Panasonic’s own Turbo Download feature which enhances speed by combining WiFi and the cellular network, IR Blaster and USB OTG.

The Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 has been priced Rs. 12,290 and will soon hit the store shelves in Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. Whether these specs at this price point would suffice to impress the buyers remains to be soon. Till then, stay tuned.
