BLUBOO S1 smartphone that features a full-screen display is a phone that is inspired by the Xiaomi Mi MIX concept phone. The tri-bezeless smartphone is truly an aesthetically beautiful smartphone. It may appear like a delicate phone from outside, but the BLUBOO S1 is sold in the market after performing various kinds of performance tests.
BLUBOO has released a video on its YouTube channel to show the different kinds of tests that have been performed on BLUBOO S1. Here is the video:
The video begins by showing the first performance test of USB-C plug port. In this test, a machine is used to insert and remove a USB connector from the USB port of the BLUBOO S1 multiple times. The next test is the micro-drop test in which the S1 is dropped 5,000 times from a height of up to 10 cm.
The physical buttons of the BLUBOO S1 are pressed for up to 100,000 times which shows how durable the buttons are. The BLUBOO S1 is also tested for soft bending. BLUBOO has various kinds of equipment for testing the quality of the phone. It has a machine for performing rolling drop test. Another test involves dropping of an iron ball of75 grams several times from a height of 50 cm.
BLUBOO S1 has a 5.5-inch display that supports a full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Except for the bottom, all the three side bezels surrounding the display are very slim. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset that features an octa-core processor that clocks at 2.5 GHz.
The rear side of the BLUBOO S1 has a dual camera module featuring a 13-megapixel sensor and a 3-megapixel sensor. It is loaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. It is packed with a 3,500mAh battery.
The BLUBOO S1 pre-orders that have started on July 10 will come to an end on July 17. The company claims that it has sold 200 unit of the phone in the initial two hours of pre-orders. During the pre-orders, the BLUBOO S1 is available with a lowered pricing of $159 compared to its original price of $209. Also, the company is giving one handset for $79 each day until July 14.
