With the launch of two Windows Phone 8.1 smartphones, the US-based smartphone company, Blu, has entered into the budget segment of Indian market. Dubbed Blu Win JR LTE, and Blu Win HD LTE has been made available at online retailer Snapdeal, at the price of Rs. 5,999, and Rs. 7,999 respectively. Both the smartphones share similar attributes except a few such as Display, Resolution, battery, and Camera.
With dual-SIM 4G LTE support, these handsets are powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 410 SoC throbbing at 1.2GHz, coupled with 1 gig of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU. Both of them packs 8GB of storage with expandable support up to 32GB. As both are running Win 8.1, needless to say they surely qualify for Windows 10 Mobile.
When it comes to differences, the least budget smartphone Blu Win JR LTE comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) IPS display which works out with 218PPI. With 5MP autofocus rear camera, the phone offers just VGA setup for front. A 2,000mAh cell keeps the light on, with up to 16h of talk time, and 725h of standby time on 3G.
On the other hand, the Blu Win HD LTE is slightly larger with a 5-inch High Definition (1280×720 pixels) display with a pixel density of 294PPI. Keeping the active mode, a 2,500mAh battery is placed inside the phone. The company claims up to 20h of talk time and 775h of standby time for the phone. In the camera section, it offers 2MP selfie shooter, along with an 8MP back snapper lashed with LED flash.
