Blizzard has expressed that Overwatch character Mei’s midriff seeming littler in her Chinese New Year skin is the consequence of a bug. Moreover, the designer is good to go on an upgrade to the outfit that will be more in accordance with her unique waist. The most recent group of new Overwatch skins were revealed as of late. Besides, aficionados of the game started calling attention to how Mei looked like discernibly slimmer in her Luna and Chang ensembles than in her past clothing. Already, many valued that Mei was bigger than the normal female video game character. So some were worried that Blizzard had chosen to thin down the character for this new event.

Blizzard will change Overwatch’s Mei’s waistline after fan outrage

Many called attention to that there was something “off” about the general outlines of Mei’s new Overwatch skins. Most discernibly they gave Mei a protuberance much the same as that which you’d see gracing the back of a camel.

Before sufficiently long the protest advanced toward Blizzard’s official forums. There was a string titled ‘Where Did Mei’s Waist Go?’. It got a response from the organization’s group chief Stephanie Johnson. He stated: “There’s a bug with Mei’s Luna and Chang’e skins right now. It’s causing her waist to appear much smaller than normal. We’ve already fixed the bug internally. But it’s going to require a patch to implement. Ideally, it’ll be included in whatever next patch hits your gaming platform.”
