Evan Blass (aka @evleaks) has revealed the plans that BlackBerry has in regards to Android flavored ‘Berry handsets. A GIF posted in the tweet reveals the BlackBerry Productivity Suite running on the upcoming BlackBerry Venice slider smartphone. The Productivity Suite is one of those three packages which can run on BlackBerry phones. Another two are BlackBerry Security Suite and the BlackBerry Communication Suite.

The Productivity Suite contains Universal Search, BlackBerry Calendar, BlackBerry Contacts, Documents To Go and BlackBerry Hub. The Productivity Suite is apparently contained the Android ROM used on the Venice Slider. That make sense that variant of BlackBerry Android smartphone might have a skin which includes attributes from BlackBerry 10.
Further, the Venice is not any stock Android mobile, according to Evan Blass. Even the most die-hard Android enthusiast might believe it even more productive to have a BlackBerry 10 skin on top of Android than say, TouchWiz.
Nothing is confirmed yet, until BlackBerry announce it officially. So take the news with a grain of salt, and stay tuned for new updates.
