BlackBerry is gearing up to release its upcoming Android phone BlackBerry Priv, which can either make or break the company’s position in the market. It is already known that pre-orders of the phone have started at Carphone Warehouse. And today BlackBerry has decided to show-off the Android-powered Priv in an official video.
As seen on the BlackBerry Priv pre-order page, the phone sports a 5.4-inch 1440 x 2560 display. There’s a hexa core CPU under the hood driven by a Snapdragon 808 chipset, while graphics are handled by an Adreno 418 GPU. Handling the memory is 3GB RAM and the 32 GB of internal storage is expandable up to a whopping 2TB via microSD!
Talking about the camera, there’s an 18MP shooter at the back with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for non-blurry photos, while the front gets a 2MP selfie snapper. The 3410mAh battery keeps the phone alive for quite long, and the Priv runs Android 5.1.1 out of the box, a first in the history of BlackBerry.
