4. Modern Warfare 2
Modern Warfare 2 nails the three pillars of play–campaign, cooperative, and multiplayer–to earn its place in the pantheon of modern shooters. The feeling of half of the lobby leaving when you got a nuke or everybody breaking their mics when you got that 360 quickscope winning killcam in MW2 is unmatched in the Cod series. MW2 is the highlight in COD for us.

3. Call of Duty 2
This game deserves to be honored, it’s brilliant in AI programming. Even if there is no player present in free cam mode the battle between NPC’s will go on in many parts of the game. Difficult to find a modern game which can deliver so much accuracy. The mission about defending hill 400 was one of the biggest reasons this game is in our top 5 best call of duty game of all time, and our favorite world war 2 game as well. It lasted five minutes, but it felt like 5 hours.
