The Attack on Titan video game has officially launched in Japan, and Koei Tecmo has released an… interesting opening featuring titans chomping humans before they get attacked Eren and the rest of the gang. Unfortunately, it does not feature a score by Linked Horizon to go with it, but that will perhaps teach you that you can’t have everything in life.

When we last took a look at Attack on Titan for the PS4, voice actress Yui Ishikawa was playing the character she voices in the game, Mikasa. This time around, we’re looking at the actual opening cinematic that will be used in the game. You know it’s real because it’s complete with a “Press Touch Pad Button” prompt at the end. It’s almost as if Koei Tecmo knew you were going to doubt it.

Attack on Titan is exclusive to PlayStation (PS3, PS4 and Vita) and will be releasing some time later this year in the West. It has already been released in Japan, though, so if you can read Japanese, look for an import. And you know what else is exclusive to PlayStation? These upcoming games!

What do you think of Attack on Titan? Does it get you pumped to take down a titan or two? Let us know in the comments below.
