The Asus ZenFone Zoom was launched in the company’s home country Taiwan more than a week ago. The phone was also spotted on China’s TENAA website in mid-November. And finally, the phone has been launched in China today.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom is powered by an Intel Atom Z3590 2.5GHz processor with a whopping 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of onboard storage. The phone comes with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 over its 5.5-inch Full HD screen.
It is touted as the thinnest phone in the world featuring a 13MP SmartFSI camera sensor with 3x optical zoom, dual-tone dual LED flash, laser autofocus, and OIS. The PixelMaster camera offers superb photos even in low-light environments.
The Asus ZenFone Zoom features LTE connectivity and comes with a faux leather back. Android Lollipop comes pre-installed, while a 3,000mAh battery keeps the lights on. The 64GB variant has been priced at CNY 2799 (approx. $433), while the 128GB version costs CNY 3199 (approx. $495). The phone will be available to buy at the Jingdong Mall in China.
