Asus today launched its budget-friendly smartphone, the Asus Zenfone Go 4.5 (ZC451TG), in India. Priced at Rs. 5,299, the phone is currently available for purchase in Black colour through Flipkart only, but the company has assured to make it available through offline channels from the second week of January 2016. The phone will soon be available through other online retailers too.
The Zenfone Go 4.5 (ZC451TG) is the lite version of the Zenfone Go smartphone, which was launched back September. Specs-wise, the Zenfone Go 4.5 features dual-SIM support, 3G connectivity, and a 1,600mAh battery. Equipped with a 4.5-inch FWVGA screen, the phone is powered by the MediaTek MT6580M chipset with quad-core 1.3GHz processor, paired with 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 8GB onboard memory. It comes with microSD card slot so you can expand the memory up to 64GB if needed. Buyers will also get 100GB of free Google Drive space for 2 years, and 5GB free Asus Web storage for the lifetime.
Running Android 5.1 Lollipop with Zen UI 2.0, the Zenfone Go 4.5 features a 5-megapixel primary camera along with a 0.3-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat.
