Asus has tasted great success with its ZenFone series of smartphones, the most recent of them being the Asus ZenFone Zoom and ZenFone Go. The company has also done great business with its Pegasus smartphones. And thanks to China’s TENAA website, a new Pegasus phone has come to light. Called the Asus Pegasus X005, the phone might be launched soon.

As is always the case, the TENAA listing came with images of the phone and most of its specs. Talking about the looks first, the Pegasus X005 looks different from the previous Pegasus phones and gets new metal-like looks. Also, the new phone has been named as Pegasus X005, which suggests that it is the sequel to the Pegasus X002. Regarding specs, the X005 is a toned-down version of the Pegasus 2 Plus X550.

Pegasus phones have been budget conscious, which is visible in the specifications list of the Asus Pegasus X005. The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 1.3GHz octa-core CPU, 4G connectivity, and dual-SIM slots. It gets a 13 MP camera at the back with a LED flash and a 5MP camera at the front. Memory-wise, it gets 2GB RAM and 16GB expandable memory.

The X005 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with Zen UI on top. The phone will be offered in Gold, White, and Blue.
