ARCHOS has announced their flagship phone, the ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note, and it is something to look out for. Diamond 2 Note will be showcased at the MWC 2016 starting next week. Apart from the killer looks, the phone comes in with a price tag that will take some time to sink in. It will be available for purchase starting from May this year. But before going into all that, let’s take a closer look at the phone and what it is capable of.
ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note comes with a massive 6-inch screen. But don’t be put off by the screen just yet. It has a borderless design with an improved screen to body ratio that makes it feel like a 5.5inch phone. Usually large displays suffer from pixelation, but that problem won’t arise in the Diamond 2 Note as it has a staggering Quad HD resolution of 2560×1440 pixels. Inside the hood, powering the phone is the almighty 2GHz MT6795 Helio X10 octa-core processor from MediaTek. For maximum performance, the phone has 3 gigabytes of RAM and the PowerVR G6200 GPU. Even though ARCHOS have not mentioned about the expansion of storage, there is 32 GB of inbuilt storage.
Some of the unexpected features include the Type C USB port, a 16-megapixel rear camera that supports 4K video recording and an 8-megapixel front camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens, and a massive 3,610mAh battery. ARCHOS Diamond 2 Note even includes support for remote control and smart PA sound system. All this comes with a price tag that will surely amaze you. The phone is going to be available for just £249/€320/$355 and that too without any hidden charges. Sounds like a good deal, doesn’t it?
