Apple usually releases its smartphones around September and October, yet, thanks to leaks and rumors we get some notion regarding the approaching phones ahead of the launch.
It is only March but we are already seeing the rumor factory churn out news related to this season’s iPhone(s).
Based on a report by Digitimes, Apple will introduce three iPhones – iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and a 4-inch display-equipped apparatus that is now being referred as iPhone 6C. The leak cites company insiders as the source to confirm that Apple probably will associate Wistron to assemble the lower version, iPhone 6C while the 6s and 6s Plus will be manufactured by Pegatron and Foxconn.
According to leak source, all three iPhones will come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and will attribute the LTPs panels. The iPhone 6s panel will be provided by the LG Display and Japan Display, while 6s Plus and 6C panels will be sourced by LG Display, Japan Display and Sharp.
The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus will be powered by company’s new chipset A9 and the lower model 6C will run the current A8. All 3 iPhones will support the fingerprint sensor and NFC connectivity.
