iPad fans in India can finally enjoy the latest iPad Mini 4, as the slate has reached the Indian shores and is now on sale now. The 16GB Wi-Fi-only variant of the iPad Mini 4 costs equal to $445 USD, while the 64GB Wi-Fi-only version is priced at $553 USD. In case you want more space, you can go for the 128GB Wi-Fi only model for $647. For buyers who want to get their hands at the Wi-Fi plus Cellular variants, the 16GB model retails at $559 USD, the 64GB variant costs $707 USD, while the 128GB version will put you back by $814 USD.
As you might already be knowing, the iPad Mini 4 sports a 7.9-inch 1536 x 2048 display which translates to a pixel density of 324ppi. Powering the new iPad is the Apple A8 chip, which carries a 1.5GHz dual-core CPU accompanied by a PowerVR GX6450 GPU. There’s 2GB of RAM inside to keep the multi-tasking going on smoothly, while a 5124mAh battery makes the slate last quite long.
On the other hand, the new iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are losing their hold in the Indian smartphone market, the culprit being their steep pricing, which is out of the reach of Indian consumers. To give you an idea of the same, just the 16GB variant of the iPhone 6s is selling at $925 USD, which is why its sales are taking a hit. Given the fact that the 16GB Wi-Fi-only model of the iPad Mini 4 is retailing at $399 in the U.S., consumers will find the tablet easier to purchase than the new iPhones.
