For the world’s most famous messenger app, WhatsApp, the company has pushed another update yesterday. WhatsApp 2.17.238 beta has been released for Android update and it will allow the beta testers to try out new features that the company trials before making them available in the final version.
Many must be waiting for the new beta update to bring new features to try them but, but they will be left disappointed as the company didn’t release the update with any new update. It seems that the WhatsApp latest update comes with just a few bug fixes and performance enhancements. Even the app description doesn’t mention any new feature about the 2.17.238 update.
If you go to the ‘What’s New’ section of the app page on APK Mirror, you will find the older features mentioned there. The feature mentioned is the pin chat option that the company introduced a while ago. It allowed the users to pin their favourite chats on the top with a maximum limit of three. The chats would remain at the top regardless of the new messages coming in any of the other chats.
WhatsApp 2.17.238 beta APK can be downloaded from the APK Mirror website that provides the most reliable APKs for any type of Android app. Otherwise, you can go for the official channel and register for beta testing via the Google Play Store and get the updates directly from the Store itself.
Before downloading, you must know that this is a beta version of the app that will naturally have a number of bugs and the app might not work as smoothly as the final version does. Download only if you are fine with random issues with the app.
Downloading an APK from the mentioned link is an easier process and the app installed via APK will also replace your existing app. The WhatsApp 2.17.238 update is available for Android 4.0.3 and above but it would be great if you have the latest Android 7.1 Nougat update to enjoy all the latest features.
