The previous week saw many announcements and timelines for Android Nougat update. This week was rather dull for Android Nougat update news. OnePlus owners have something to cheer about. Android Nougat is expected soon for all OnePlus devices. OnePlus recently launched beta versions of the latest OS, the test results of which were seen on Geekbench. When it comes to LG devices, LG V10 Android Nougat update may not come this year. Users will have to wait until March 2017 to get the latest Android OS. Android Nougat for LG G5 is however expected by mid-November. Other models of LG are also expected to receive Nougat update soon.
As for Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, Android 7.0 Nougat beta testing started on November 9 and will last until mid-December. You can register for beta testing, but Samsung will select the participants. Unfortunately, Galaxy S7 Edge Olympic Edition and Batman Injustice Edition are not eligible for beta testing program. And as far as Moto devices are concerned, Motorola has announced that 15 Moto models will get the Android Nougat update in December. All Moto users, cheer up! But Moto G (2015) and Moto E3 Power aren’t in the list. Users of these devices may have to wait longer.
