HTC has just started seeding the Android 7.0 Nougat update to HTC One A9 in India. The Taiwanese manufacturer has been good with the software updates for its smartphone offerings. HTC One A9 was launched in September 2015 and was among the few handsets to boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

HTC One A9 is a upper-midrange offering from the house of HTC. The device has already received the Nougat firmware in other parts of the world, so it was about time that HTC released the Nougat software for the Indian users.

The latest software update weighs around 1.05 GB and comes with build number 2.18.707.1. It’s highly recommended that you keep at least 50% of battery juice before proceeding with the installation. All this is powered by 2150 mAh battery with 5-Inch Screen diagonal of Full HD resolution on the front.
