Back in November, it seemed Android 5.0 was heading out to the unlocked model of the second generation Motorola Moto G. However, the upgrade was pulled and reached to merely Moto G owners. According to reports, now both original and second generation Moto X and Moto G phones are getting the latest Google’s Android 5.0 Lollipop. We already reported you that last year Moto G is getting Android Lollipop for sure. The update firmware file is approx. 600 MB in size.
It is revealed that OG Motorola Moto G is getting software version 220.21.25 with build number LXB22.46-25.
If you owned either version, recall these updates are sent out on a staggered basis. It might be reached to you by today, tomorrow, another day as well as after weeks. Till then, you can check updates manually by visiting to Settings>> About Phone>> System updates >> Check for updates. If there would be any firmware update available for you at moment, it will show you and you can go with the update.
