The Advanced Micro Devices, AMD has released Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.9.2 with support for Forza Horizon 3. The driver Version 16.40.2311 brings a collection of fixes, a new CrossFire profile, and support for Microsoft’s Forza Horizon 3. It also adds new AMD CrossFire profile, for upcoming Dreadnought game, for DirectX 11.
The latest Radeon Software Crimson 16.9.2 driver addresses issues that have been plaguing Radeon RX 400 Series graphics products. The solved issues include including intermittent mouse cursor corruption, occasional crashes during video playback in Mozilla Firefox, and flickering in Rocket league when running in CrossFire mode.
AMD has also resolved issues related to small amounts of stutter while playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided in CrossFire mode under DX11. The possibility of crashing Ashes of the Singularity while playing with DX12 and Multi-GPU enabled has also been fixed.
The new Radeon Software Crimson 16.9.2 Driver brings launch-day support for Forza Horizon 3. Forza is the latest racing game to be published by Microsoft Studios. It will be released next week on Tuesday the 27th. Users will also get a CrossFire profile for the capital ship combat game Dreadnought.
Additionally, the Radeon Settings application has an added few more fixes this month. Upgrading from an older version of Radeon Software Crimson Edition was causing user settings in Radeon Settings to reset to defaults. This issue has been corrected. The Radeon Settings crash under Windows 10 Anniversary Edition has also been corrected.
