After running 4G trails in a number of cities during recent months, Airtel now started its 4G services in 296 cities all over the India. In 2012, the Airtel launched its 4G TDD-LTE services in Kolkata and recently enlarged its roll out to a number of cities. Airtel offers incorporated 4G services in certain circles like Delhi NCR that uses both 1800MHz FDD LTE (band 3) and 2300MHz TDD LTE (band 40). Airtel 4G can be obtained on 4G hotspots, dongles, mobile phones and Wi-Fi dongles in the majority of cities.

Airtel additionally introduced Wynk Movies program that offers content from different channels like HOOQ, EROS NOW, YouTube, Sony LIV, and Dailymotion. The program will soon be available for iOS customers, but Android users can still enjoy it by downloading it from Play Store. The company is offering the rates almost similar to 3G network, and offer its 4G services for as low as Rs. 25.

Airtel also introduced a brand new selection of Infinity Plans starting Rs. 999 with unlimited voice calls, including roaming, 4G data and access to Wynk Music and Wynk Pictures. It offers 3GB of 4G data in plan of Rs. 999, 5GB of data for Rs. 1749, 7GB comes in plan of Rs. 2249, and Rs. 3,249 plan comes with 15GB of 4G data. These all plans are valid for 28 days for prepaid customers and per bill cycle for postpaid connections.

It introduced Flexpage –  an automated platform that enables users to monitor their data use and get real-time alert notifications. This also lets customers update their plan while away from home, as and when their monthly information quota exhaust. Airtel clients can head to their closest Airtel Store and change into a 4G SIM or head to airtel.in/4g to discover details about 4G availability in your area.
