A lot of manufacturers launched their smartphones for 2016 at the MWC, and among them was Acer too. The company unveiled three new smartphones at the event, namely the Acer Liquid Jade 2, Liquid Zest, and Liquid Zest 4G.
The Acer Liquid Jade 2 comes with a 5.5-inches FullHD AMOLED display and gets powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 808 processor. There’s 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard expandable memory. The phone flaunts a good 21MP rear camera that supports 4K video recording at 30fps, and there’s an 8MP front camera too with a 84-degree wide-angle lens. The phone comes with support for DTS Headphone:X, DTS Play-Fi technology, and more.
Meanwhile, the Acer Liquid Zest comes with another variant called the Liquid Zest 4G. The difference between the two is that the Zest gets 3G while the Zest 4G gets 4G LTE; and the Zest comes with DTS Sound Studio while the Zest 4G features a better DTS-HD Premium Sound. Also, the 3G variant gets a quad-core Mediatek MT6580 1.3GHz CPU, whereas the 4G version gets a 1.3GHz quad-cpre MediaTek MT6735 CPU.
Rest all the specs remain the same. Both the phones get a 5-inches HD IPS screen, 8MP rear camera with f/2.0 and autofocus, and a 5MP front camera.
The price for the Acer Liquid Jade 2 is still unknown, while the Acer Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G cost €109 and €149 respectively.
