In a latest announcement from Oppo, there will be an UI update to ColorOS 2.1 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop soon. Oppo has now previewed its upcoming UI.
The upgraded UI which is still in testing phase will be updated as ColorOS 2.1.0i Beta update to Oppo Find 7 and Find 7a towards the end of the week. On May 6, Oppo on its official forum announced the preview of ColorOS 2.1.0i Beta to its developers, to get a first hand feel of its upcoming features in the User Interface(UI). On May 8, it was then followed by release of a short video on its official YouTube channel.
Video on YouTube by Oppo features 3 major enhancements as new cajoled User Interface design, all new features in current UI and improvements over Android KitKat-based ColorOS version 2.0.8i. To receive an OTA(over-the-air) update on the user interface, Oppo users still have to wait, as this is not the final version of the UI. This is as per the information provided by Oppo’s Product Manager Ricky on the official forum.
