Samsung Galaxy S6 Active is now certified by the FCC which is one of the important steps before a phone launch. In US Galaxy S5 Active was exclusive to AT&T, however it is still not clear whether the same will be applicable to Galaxy S6 Active. The leaked images show AT&Ts logo, but S6 Active will support T-Mobile’s LTE bands too. Need to wait for more information on what agreement is done between Samsung and other US Carriers.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active may look like as in below image. Image shows the front and rear of the smartphone in black color. Interesting to note, the loudspeaker has been moved to the rear of the phone.
It is now certain that Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will not offer a fingerprint sensor buttons like Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. It will support SM-G890A model number and comes with 3,500mAh battery which is much larger than SM-G920. Like Galaxy S6, it is expected that Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will keep the same specifications. Including 14nm Exynos 7420 Soc, 5.1-inch QHD Super AMOLED display along with 16MP rear camera and 5MP selfie shooter.
