The latest Samsung Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge has taken the market by storm in mostly regions, but they failed to impress the Japanese customers.
A Japanese market research company BCN, has surveyed the weekly smartphone sales in Japan for the period from April 27th to May 3rd, where the Galaxy S6 as well as S6 edge missed the top 10 positions and ranked 30th and 26th respectively.
Previously it was reported that the Korean giant’s strategy to remove its own logo from both the handsets will give a boost to the sales in Japan, but even after the visible efforts, the company could not attract the customers.
However, the Galaxy S6 and its edge variant are receiving positive response in most of the countries. They have been positioned in top 3 in Germany sales, top 5 in UK, and received four times higher pre-order compared to Galaxy S5 in the China.
