Xiaomi recently launched its latest smartphone Mi 4i in India and went on first flash sale today via Flipkart at 2PM. More than 3 lakh people registered for the handset but the company was having only 40,000 units to sell in first sale. According to company, all the 40,000 handsets were sold out in mere 15 seconds. It is worth noting that currently the Mi 4i is available in white only and pink, blue, and yellow variants are planned to release soon.
With a price tag of INR 12,999, the Mi 4i sports a 5 inch display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels, and is powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset with 2nd Gen octa-core processor. It packs 2GB of RAM, 16GB built-in memory, a 13 megapixel rear snapper with two-tone LED flash, a 5 megapixel front shooter, and a 3,120 mAh battery. The Mi 4i supports dual-SIM functionality with 4G LTE connectivity and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with MIUI 6.
Registrations for the next flash sale on May 7th are starting today.
