Since July last year, Xiaomi has launched 5 smartphones and 1 tablet running Android based MIUI user interface in India. Up to now, the Chinese company continues to be selling those apparatus in venture with Indian e-commerce website – Flipkart.

In China, Xiaomi sells its smartphones through its online website as well as carrier stores. Likewise for India, the company partnered with an Indian telecom operator, Airtel, to sell its Redmi Note 4G smartphone in Airtel stores.

The company has now partnered with The Mobile Store to sell Mi 4 and Redmi Note 4G through its physical stores beginning with the New Delhi.

This week, Xiaomi announced its strategy to sell out 100 million handset in 2015, and step to reach physical stores could be a part of the 100 million plan.

Manu Kumar Jain, Xiaomi Head for India, tweeted that the Mi phones are now available in The Mobile Store. The Mobile Store intends to make the Mi mobiles accessible in its top 300 shops all over the country.
