Following the footsteps of the Mi MIX 2, Vernee also announced its MIX 2 just a couple of weeks back. The Vernee MIX 2 was initially announced with 4GB of RAM and the company has now announced the 6GB Ram variant of the phone. This higher-end variant is available at a discounted price for a limited time.
Celebrated in China, the Single’s Day brings a host of offers and sales all the product categories, including smartphones. It is during the “1111” sale Vernee will be making the MIX 2 available at a discounted price. More on this in the later section of this piece.
Apart from the RAM capacity, there is no change between the two variants of Vernee MIX 2. The major element of the phone is heavily inspired by the Mi MIX 2, besides the name, is the edge-to-edge screen that has bezel only on the side. The phone has a bezel on the bottom to accommodate the essential sensors while the other three sides are virtually border-less. Vernee has used glass on the back as well for a more premium feel.
Diving deep into the specifications, the Vernee MIX 2’s display measures 6 inches and has a resolution of 2160 x 1080. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor coupled with 4GB or 6GB RAM depending on the variant you choose. The internal storage will remain standard at 64GB irrespective of the variant.
Vernee MIX 2 includes dual cameras on the back with a combination of 13MP+5MP sensors. The camera unit on the front has an 8MP sensor. The battery capacity of the phone is 4200mAh that supports PUMP EXPRESS+ fast charging. The phone will come running VOS 1.0 over Android 7.0 and the company claims to have done major optimisations to make experience super smooth for the users, especially on the 6GB RAM variant.
The regular price of the Vernee MIX 2 6GB is $279.99 but the company will be offering a discount of $60 during the sale. This brings down the effective price of the phone to $219.99. This is a limited-period sale and limited units will only be made available. The discounted price is only valid between November 6 and November 12 and would be limited to just 3000 units.
