After about a couple of week, the Play Store has got another update from Google that has bumped the app version to 8.3.73. Considering the version, the update doesn’t seem to be a major one and won’t be bringing anything significant to the table. You can expect it to solve a bunch of issues and bugs that might have appeared in the previous versions.
Google had released two updates a couple of weeks back within a span of two days. After releasing the 8.2.58 version of the Google Play Store, the version 8.3.41 was released, which seemed to be a significant bump over the version released a day before. Play Store 8.3.73 is the next version of the Play Store that has been released today after the last update was released last week. As mentioned earlier, the version 8.3.42 is a minor update and you shouldn’t expect anything significant from this version at least. We might have to wait for a few more updates to get something major.
Prior to this update, the Play Store got an update that brought some minor UI changes to it. A dedicated Game button was added in the last update. Google has been coming up with subtle UI changes for the Play Store in the recent past bringing a lot of new features for the users.
Google app updates are generally rolled out in a phased manner, which means that you might not get the update directly from Google soon after it is released. You might have to wait a bit more to get the update from the official channels. And in case you can’t wait for the official update, you have the option to download the APK file of the latest version of Play Store.
