We are approaching the premiere of ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 13 and now it seems the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) is getting back to its business. Ahead of the premiere of the much-awaited season, CBS has unveiled a few snaps from the upcoming episodes added with the synopsis of the first episode (see the photographs below).
Before going to the synopsis of ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 13 episode 1, let us take you to that horrific scene that took place in the previous season’s finale. A car was carrying some BAU members that was hit by an elongated truck. One of the BAU members went missing after this horrific accident and fans believe that no one except the serial killer, Mr. Scratch aka Peter Lewis (Bodhi Elfman) had abducted the missing member.
The synopsis of upcoming episode 1 titled ‘Wheels Up’ suggests that Agent Matt Simmons (Daniel Henney) will be seen joining the BAU team in a race to take down Mr. Scratch and save the life of the kidnapped member.
As far as the recently released photographs are concerned, Agent Simmons has made his way over to the BAU after ‘Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders’ got sudden cancellation this summer, as reported by Pop Culture. The show’s executive producer, Erica Messer hinted that since the team was in trouble and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) called him, Simmons has shown up.
According to Blasting News, there can be one addition to the cast. Previously there was no confirmation about it but now it is assured that Jamie Kennedy will be reprising his role as Floyd Feylinn Ferell. He was first seen in the series’ third season a decade back as a dangerous serial killer. The old regular viewers must remember him as that person who had consumed his little sister’s flesh. With his return, the series is going to be quite interesting and horrific too. Whereas, a tough time for the BAU team members can’t be ignored.
Never miss the premiere of ‘Criminal Minds’ Season 13 on Wednesday, September 27 at 10 pm EDT on the CBS.
