In One Piece chapter 865, Luffy and Bege managed to bring Big Mom down to her knees. Just when everyone thought that it’s over for the Straw Hat Pirates and the Vinsmoke Family, Luffy showed Big Mom a portrait of her adoptive mother, Caramel. Big Mom was already disheartened because the wedding cake was destroyed, and seeing the portrait of her mother made her even more depressed.
Upon seeing the shattered portrait of her mother, Big Mom finally unleashed her scream which shook the venue and knocked out most of her underlings. This gave Sanji a chance to save his family, and he then freed them from their trap by using Diable Jambe. Galette got shocked after seeing Big Mom getting on her knees. Vito and Gotty then jumped out of Bege’s body, while Smoothie begged everyone to stop them. The chapter ended with Big Mom thinking about her mother and why she left her on Elbaf 63 years ago.
