First up, the latest software update for A5 and A7 2016 editions brings the same user interface as last year’s flagships Galaxy S7 Edge and Galaxy S7. This means less bloatware and more fluent OS.
Other than that, you have the Nougat OS improvements marking overall better experience. Features like Multi-window, Doze on the Go, Enhanced APIs and much more have made their way to Galaxy A5 (2017) and Galaxy A5 (2016).
To check whether the update is available for your particular smartphone, all you need to do is visit the “About Device” section of your device and check for the software update.
