All we know that the wait for ‘Avatar 2’ was earlier expected to be over by December 2018 but now the release date is pushed to further 2020. Fans of science fiction movies are quite disappointed for this delay of over a decade since the release of first movie ‘Avatar’ but the good news is that the movie has already started shaping up. It is also recently said that the script part is already finished.
Sigourney Weaver, the actor who played the character Dr. Grace Augustine in the original movie, said that the scripts for ‘Avatar 2,’ ‘Avatar 3,’ ‘Avatar 4’ and ‘Avatar 5’ have already been finished. According to Weaver, the script is so fantabulous that the long wait of fans for the film is worth it.
According to a recent report released by the Christian Today, Cliff Curtis has joined ‘Avatar 2’ and its other sequels. The sources say that he is going to have a lead role in all the four upcoming sequels to be directed by ‘Titanic’ filmmaker James Cameron.
Remember, Cliff Curtis is mainly known for his roles as Yeshua in the 2016 movie ‘Risen’ and as Travis Manawa in ‘Fear The Walking Dead.’ He also played 13 episodes as Javier Acosta in the 2014 television series ‘Gang Related.’
Reports say that Cliff Curtis will play the role of Tonowari, the leader of the reef clan Metkayina in ‘Avatar 2’ and other sequels. Director James Cameron already said in his recent conversations with media that ‘Avatar’ world in the future sequels will take place underwater, as reported by Deadline.
