Rossum has recently joined the cast of Hard Powder, an action packed film, starring Liam Neeson. In the picture, she is seen wearing the uniform of a police officer. This film is an English-language remake of the 2014 Norwegian feature In Order of Disappearance. It is directed by Hans Petter Moland.

This will make her available to shoot for the Season 8 of Shameless which is soon starting its production in this month.

The previous season of Shameless has revealed a twist of fate for Rossum’s character Fiona. She is shocked to learn the news of the death of her mother Monika. Before dying, Monika leaves a wealth of crystal meth behind her.
Apart from this, Fiona also wants to try her luck as a real estate agent. There are several roadblocks for her as she re-starts her life post Monika’s death. But perhaps there are some interesting things wrapped up for Fiona in Season 8 that can make her life a little better.
Emmy Rossum Hopes Fiona Falls In Love Again?
Rossum in an interview has revealed her expectations for Shameless Season 8. She says that her character has always learned the hard way whether it is about her life or business. She also added talking about the new season that,”I’m so inspired and excited and surprised. And I fall in love all over again. We should be so lucky,” reported Variety.
Fiona had a terrific love life. Her wedding with Sean Pierce (Dermot Mulroney) in Season 6 was called off because Frank tells her that Pierce has again started doing drugs. So if cupid strikes Fiona again then fans might see a new cast addition or Pierce might return in her life.
