Frew days ago, Geskin had revealed an iPhone 8 schematic that and now he has released fresh images of the dummy unit of iPhone 8 on his @VenyaGeskin1 Twitter account. The most striking change that can be seen on the dummy unit is that the speculated iPhone 8 is not sporting a metallic body.

Full Glass Design

The iPhone 5 from 2012 and all the iPhones that have followed have arrived with metallic chassis, but the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S have a metallic frame sandwiched between glass panels that are present on the front and rear sides.  The iPhone 8 dummy unit has a stainless-steel frame present in between 2.5D curved glasses at the front and back. As far as dimensions are concerned, the iPhone 8 is speculated to have the same thickness and size as that of iPhone 7. The thickness of iPhone 8 is pegged as 7.1mm.

The left side of the iPhone 8 seems to be packed with a Lightning port and volume buttons. The right side appears to a have long-shaped Power button and a SIM card tray. Rumors claim that as the iPhone 7 came with IP68 certified body, the iPhone 8 will also be arriving with an IP68 rated chassis.

Full Display

The other overhaul improvement on the iPhone 8 is its screen. Rumors have stated that the iPhone 8 would be featuring a 5.8-inch OLED display. Even though the presence of OLED screen cannot be confirmed in these images, it can be said that the display is covering the entire frontal part of the phone. Geskin claims that the iPhone 8 has 4mm bezels.

Dual Rear and Front Cameras

Apple had introduced dual rear cameras in a horizontal arrangement on iPhone 7. However, the dual rear cameras on the iPhone 8 dummy unit looks vertically arranged with a LED flash in between. Geskin also claims that the handset will be gracing dual selfie cameras. Other rumors claim that the top bezel will be coming with features like iris reader and 3D facial scanner.
