Xiaomi Mi 6 has been officially announced. At the same time, the unannounced Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has been found listed on GearBest. The Chinese retailer has listed the phone with an image of the Mi MIX 2 along with its specifications.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 has a 6.4-inch AMOLED display that carries support for quad HD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The image present on the listing which is actually a render shows that the screen occupies the entire front side of the Mi MIX 2. The phone is powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset that features a 2.45 GHz octa-core processor.
It has a dual LED flash enabled rear-facing camera of 19-megapixel and it has a selfie camera of 13-megapixel. The selfie camera cannot be seen on the render that is listed on GearBest.
The Mi MIX 2 is preinstalled with Android 7.1 Nougat OS which is modified with MIUI 9 skin. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and also features a 3.5mm audio jack. The phone is packed with a 4,500 mAh battery.
The Mi MIX 2 is listed in color choices like black and white. The concept phone comes in three choices such as 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. GearBest has a dedicated page for each variant. However, none of the variants are available for purchase. All the listings have an arrival notice tag which will notify users when the Mi MIX 2 is available.
The Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 with 4 GB RAM is priced at $848.91. Its 6 GB RAM model carries a pricing of $951.37 and its 8 GB RAM variant costs $1,094.81. The Mi MIX 2 measures 158 x 81.9 x 7.9 mm and its weight is 209 grams. The dimensions and weight of the Mi MIX 2 are same as that of the original model.
