Star Wars Battlefront 2 fans are in for a real treat as EA reveals some more of the good news. This all happens just a few days after the announcements of game’s release dates reveal and Pre-Order information.
EA recently revealed the Star Wars Battlefront 2 release dates along with the Pre-Order information. The game is going to release on November 17 but fans have been treated to some good news regarding the game.
EA has recently revealed that the Star Wars Battlefront 2 will not have a Season Pass on Xbox One and PS4. This clearly hints that there won’t be any chances of a Nintendo Switch port for the game.
EA’s Creative Director Bernd Diemer was recently talking to Mashable. While in the interview, Diemer told Mashable that the game will not have a Season Pass at all. EA wants to keep all of the fans on a level play field.
Furthermore, Diemer said that-
“I cannot talk about the specifics of this,” he said, “but we have something different in mind that will allow you to play longer, be [more] invested in the game without having a fragmented community.”
The Decision to snub the Season Pass was made because it was difficult for the fans of the original Star Wars Battlefront to find matches after the release of new maps and modes as DLC.
According to Diemer, Season Pass are not the best thing for games such as Star Wars Battlefront 2, and the series have evolved to a great extent. If we compare Battlefront 2 with the original battlefront, we’ll see that a lot has changed.
In addition, EA has recently said that the DLC for the game will be free for all the players. The final live service plans will be revealed in near future. So, all the players will be able to access the maps. However, only the paid customers will be able to receive experience.
EA recently also revealed that all the Pre-order customers will be able to enjoy the game early. All the early access players will be able to get into the Star Wars Battlefront on dates such as November 9th and November 14, 2017. On November 9, it’ll be available for EA Access and Origin Access players. On November 14, all the players who will Pre-order the game.
