OnePlus has been pretty hot as far as the OS updates for the OnePlus 3 and 3T devices are concerned. After rolling out the OxygenOS 4.1.0 firmware last month, the Chinese OEM is again back with a new update, OxygenOS 4.1.3.

Just like earlier updates, this one too is happening in phases, so it might take time from one region to another region. To check whether the update is available for your particular region, dive into the settings menu of your phone and go to “Software updates”.

OnePlus says, “The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we’ll begin a broader rollout in a few days.”

Along with the regular bug fixes and performance improvements, the newest software also ships with the latest Android security patch. The most notable fixes and improvements in the latest update include expanded screenshots, blur reduction while taking photos, better video stability while recording, as well as improved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, the changelog mentions a fix for the Instagram swiping bug, a fix for hardware buttons malfunctions, and increased system stability.

Overall, the latest firmware is definitely a worthy update with improvements all along the underlying OS.
