Galaxy A9 Pro Security Patch Rolling Out

Galaxy A9 Pro is receiving April security patch. With build number A910FUBU1AQC2, the update has already started rolling out. This update installs the April security patch and fixes several bugs. As always, Samsung continues to roll out updates to fix critical security issues and also fix several bugs. Galaxy A9 Pro had also received March security patch.

We never forget to keep our most favorite apps up-to-date. But often, we tend to ignore firmware updates. While it’s easy to ignore security patches, it’s important to note that security patches are vital for protecting your phone from malicious attacks. Phishing attacks and cyber crimes are on the rise and without critical security patches, your smartphone could be vulnerable to malware attacks. It’s best to keep your phone up-to-date when it comes to firmware updates.

Meanwhile, there are strong indications about A9 Pro receiving Nougat update soon. Going by Samsung’s and A9 Pro’s history, updates have been active and regular. Considering that Samsung is working hard on releasing timely firmware updates and security patches for Galaxy A9 Pro, we may soon get to see Galaxy A9 Pro receiving the Nougat update. Samsung’s roadmap doesn’t specifically talk about Galaxy A9 Pro, but it’s very likely to receive the Nougat update in the same time-frame as the other 2016 A-series.
