The much-anticipated TV services, YouTube TV has finally been unveiled by Google. YouTube TV offers live TV streaming from ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, regional sports networks and dozens of popular cable networks and gives you the best of live TV from must-see broadcast shows like Empire, Scandal, Big Bang Theory and more. YouTube TV also offers a cloud DVR with no storage limits. YouTube TV allows you to record live TV without ever running out of storage.
YouTube TV Services At Just $35 A Month
With YouTube TV membership, you get to watch all of YouTube Red Original series and movies instantly on YouTube TV app. What’s more, you can watch YouTube TV on any screen – mobile, tablet or computer. You can also easily stream to your TV with a Google Chromecast or Chromecast built-in TV. The service has been launched by Google for just $35 a month.
It’s important to note that YouTube TV isn’t the same as Netflix, Amazon Prime or other streaming sites out there. YouTube TV is mainly for you to channel surf the internet and NOT to stream movies and shows from an online library. So basically you get to watch live programmes, be it sports or any other channel.
Just $35 a month? Nah, there’s a catch!
$35 a month seems too good a price for the benefits YouTube TV offers. However, there’s a catch. YouTube TV offers limited channel selection – while it offers ESPN, CBS, FOX, it lacks several key channels and networks like PBS, Comedy Central, and CNN. And the service is still ‘under development’. The search feature isn’t completely developed yet. Searching for TV shows with specific titles sometimes doesn’t return the right results. The other limitation is that the subscriptions are initially available only in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
