Many gaming enthusiasts will agree that it is not exactly a very good idea to game on a Mac. Apart from limited hardware power, there not a lot of games made specifically for the machine. However, every now and then a developer will release a game for the Mac and would often be a big deal especially for Mac fans. Good news is, Feral Interactive just announced that it will be releasing the multiplayer version of the popular F1 2016 game to Macs. And it looks like it is coming sooner rather than later.
According to 9to5Mac, the popular F1 2016 will hit the Apple App Store on Thursday, Apr. 6. The game will cost $48.99 when bought directly on the App Store. Apart from the multiplayer aspect of the game, players will also be privy to some neat features made just for the Mac.
The Mac version of F1 2016 includes a much deeper career path for gamers. Players can create a career for a driver which can span for the rest of ten seasons. Furthermore, players will be able to feel the pressure of starting a race by switching to manual control. Racers will also have a chance to compete against a full grid of 21 drivers in the multiplayer mode.
While this may sound exciting to you, be sure to check your machine specs before buying the game. The minimum hardware requirement is an Intel i5 running at 2.8GHz paired with 8GB of RAM. An Intel Iris 540, an AMD R9 280M, or NVIDIA 680 is the bare minimum for a graphics card. As for the recommended configuration, an Intel i7 at 3.3GHz with 16GB of RAM and AMD R9 395X or better should be used. Both configurations should run the latest . macOS Sierra 10.12.4.
