Nintendo Switch sales are going strong in Japan and other countries around the globe. The new hybrid console is continuing on impressing the fans and that’s why the stocks are facing shortages.

Nintendo Switch Android rumors were true

According to the latest Nintendo Switch sales figures, it’s evident that the stock shortages will remain as they are. According to the Nintendo Switch sales from Japan, 80,000 new Nintendo Switch units sold around the globe this week. This is massive and an overall 56 percent increase in the Nintendo Switch sales as compared to the previous week. As the Nintendo Switch stock is hard to come buy throughout the globe, it is a very impressive number. Potentially, if there were more Nintendo Switch units built, they would have sold even more quickly.

Also, with the sales of Nintendo Switch, games such as Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Bomberman R, are selling in huge numbers. As Nintendo Switch debuted with these amazing titles, so they are also adding up to the Nintendo Switch’s sales.

As a previous report suggests, Nintendo Switch has sold over 500,000 units in Japan and over 2 Million units worldwide. These numbers are still rising and till now there would definitely be increased numbers than these previously recorded estimates.

Despite the high sales, Nintendo Switch has yet to cover a long way. As compared to Sony’s PS4 that managed to sell 500,000 units in first seven weeks, Nintendo Switch has sold over 519,504 Units until now. So, Nintendo Switch is definitely going on a very fast pace here.

According to Nintendo America Boss Reggie Fils-Aime “The reaction to Nintendo Switch has been Remarkable.” Reggie Told said this in a recent Fox News interview and he also stated that

“Every day we’re setting new records from a US perspective, meaning, you know, today I can look back and see how I compare to the launch of the Wii or the Nintendo DS or the Nintendo 3DS, and I’m setting sales records every day with the Nintendo Switch.

The reaction has been fantastic. Consumers want it, I’ve been with industry peers, they’re excited with what we’re doing and hoping to drive the industry. I’ve seen the games, like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, right now the fourth highest-rated game in the history of video games.

We’ve turned the industry on its ear and to do that, to be part of a company that has a reputation for doing it on a regular basis, has been tremendous.”

So, based on the “Reaction over Nintendo Switch”, Nintendo has plans to double up the Nintendo Switch productions next year. They’ll be doubling the productions with what’s being produced right now. Hopefully, this will tackle the Nintendo Switch stock shortage issue. If it all comes true, the fans will have an easy access to their beloved hybrid console. The will also have a chance to enjoy their favorite games on it.
