Mass Effect: Andromeda is about to release in a week’s time on Xbox One, PC, and PS4. As the time of the release nears, more and more news regarding the game is surfacing every day. One of this week’s big news about Mass Effect: Andromeda is that the controversial Mass Effect 3 Single-player campaigns will not be Mandatory in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Mass Effect: Andromeda will offer a number of Multiplayer Missions in the game that will eventually tie the story into Single-player campaign. Unlike Mass Effect 3, these multiplayer missions will not be mandatory in Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Criticism on BioWare for Players’ Galactic Readiness in Mass Effect 3.

Upon the release of Mass Effect 3 five years ago, BioWare was greatly criticized over the players galactic Readiness Level. This criticism was based on the fact that to get to the best endings in a single-player campaign, players needed an increase in their readiness level for the reaper wars in multiplayer missions. This sparked an outrage in the players on a huge level along with the controversial original endings of Mass Effect 3.

But Mass Effect: Andromeda will never go down the same path according to the games lead Designer Ian Frazier.

While speaking to GameSpot, Ian Frazier said that “There’s a tie that can exist between the Single-player and Multiplayer, that’s the Strike Teams.”He Further included that “At a certain point fairly early in the plot, we say, ‘Hey, there’s this militia waking up from the Cryopods from the Milky Way’.”“They can do missions where the pathfinder isn’t. When Ryder has more important things to do, you get the ability to assign AI Strike Teams to go do these missions.”Ian also said that “It’s all set in real-time, so it’s going to take an hour, five hours, or whatever for one of these missions to happen.”

The Mass Effect: Andromeda Strike missions will be lined up with the main campaign, but in separate and other optional missions players can take on their own. Frazier also commented that-

“Some of these missions are called Apex Missions. They’re generally a little harder. You can send your teams to do them, but it’s going to really hard for them unless you’ve really leveled up your teams. Or you can do it by yourself in multiplayer mode. You can just hit a button, it’ll quick-save your Single-player game and will launch you directly into the multiplayer where you can solo if you want, you can match-make with friends or you can do a public game and match with the strangers.”

In another statement, Frazier also described to GameSpot that the transition between the multiplayer Strike Missions and the Single-player campaign will be seamless. He further added to the comment that-

“These Multiplayer missions will be appropriate to where you’re at in the single-player campaign too. If it says it’s a night mission on a certain map against kett for this objective, that’s what the mission will actually be.”

Mass Effect: Andromeda is scheduled to release on PS4 Xbox One and PC on March 21, 2017. However, the pre-load for the game is now available for all the players who have ordered the game digitally. For both of the consoles and PC, players can now Pre-load the game so when it’s out, they’ll be able to play the game on the very first day.

How true are these statements, we’ll definitely be able to know about that after the release of the game? Hopefully, Mass Effect: Andromeda will be able to regain the lost attention of players over the controversial Single-player Campaign in Mass Effect 3.
