In a bid to lure more customers towards its Prime membership, Reliance Jio has introduced a new limited period ‘buy one get one free’ offer.
Spotted by a Twitter user, the offer compliments existing Prime plans with additional data allowance:
Users buying Jio’s ₹303 monthly plan before 31st March 2017 will get an extra 5GB of free data worth ₹201. Meanwhile, those opting for ₹499 or higher plan will get an additional 10GB. Once your daily data limit gets exhausted, the add-on pack will be automatically added by the company.
The move comes soon after telecom veterans – Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea – offered heavy price cuts on their data and calling plans. The operations have already killed national roaming charges and are offering free calling benefits at equally competitive prices to take on Jio.
However, the Ambani-owned giant has also announced a bunch of plans for its Prime subscribers, promising sufficient FUP based data allowance with free calling benefits until March 31st, 2018. The ₹303 plan offers 1GB of daily data with free calls, while the ₹499 plan bumps the fair usage offering to 2GB per day. The plans start from ₹19 and go as high as ₹9,999.
How To Get Reliance Jio Prime Membership?
Since Happy New Offer expires on March 31st, Prime membership will endow users better data benefits against non-prime plans. To become a Prime member, simply head over to MyJio app or visit the official Jio website. If none of that seems easy, there’s also an option to visit your nearest Jio store and enroll for the ₹99 membership.
