Netflix renews The OA for the second season

Season 1 has been received well, even though the reviews ranged from highly positive to highly negative. It has been compared with Stranger Things, a science fiction series that debuted on Netflix last year. It has been nominated for GLAAD Media Awards along with Moonlight and Supergirl. Now that The OA has now been renewed by Netflix for the second season, here are two good reasons why you shouldn’t miss the show –

Most shocking finales

Season 1 finale of The OA left the audience wanting for more. It had one of the most shocking endings in TV series history. The finale isn’t like anything that you see on other TV series – it’s strange, beautiful, mind-blowing, exciting and one that’ll give goosebumps! The shocking finales are one reason you wouldn’t want to miss Season 2.

Mind-Bending Plot

When it comes to plots, The OA has probably set standards for what all TV series, just like Game of Thrones. The OA is not just another science fiction TV series – it’s got class, it’s got science and it’s got fiction. Directed by Zal Batmanglij, the series features mind-bending plots. Incidents like Prairie resurfacing with vision, when she was actually blind before disappearing instill curiosity and continue to amaze viewers. More than the sci-fi stuff, the drama about “how” and “why” will leave you wanting for more of the thrilling stuff!

The OA Season 2 is likely to release very soon. The official date, however, in not know at this point in time.
