A new leak from China reveals quite a lot about Huawei’s forthcoming smartphone P10 Plus. Specs are beefy and the design is not void of the oomph factor — at least that’s how it would appear if you were to take the ‘leaked’ info on its face value.
You have probably already heard quite a lot about the Huawei P10 specs since one of its (alleged) renders appeared online a week or so back. In the case of the P10 Plus, all we have with us is a front render sporting a black finish. And because it was black, we weren’t really able to spot an extra sensor on the front of the handset. So, it’s tough to visually confirm the presence of an iris scanner.
Note that because the P10 had no rear sensor and a physical home button, it is extremely likely that the fingerprint scanner is placed on the front. That’s not the case with the P10 Plus. It seems that China-based Huawei has included a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor on the P10 Plus in addition to a physical home button. That’s slightly confusing given that we don’t really see the point of having two fingerprint sensor. With that taken into account, it is likely that the P10 Plus home button is one of those good ol’ home buttons (with no scanner underneath).
As for the other key specs, the K10 Plus will come with a 5.5-inch curved display. Under the metal body, the handset is said to carry the Kirin 965 processor from Huawei-owned HiSilicon. As the moniker itself suggests, Kirin 965 is a slightly upgraded variant of the flagship Kirin 960.

Word on the street is that the handset will come in two variants — one with 6GB RAM and 128GB native storage, whereas the other with 8GB RAM and 256GB native storage.
The P10 Plus will also have two 12MP cameras on the back and an 8MP camera on the front. The battery capacity stands at 3650 mAh. And finally, on the software front, the handset will be powered by Android Nougat with EMUI 5.0 interface.
