Vivo is all geared up for the launch of their next offering, Vivo V5 Plus. The company has been sending out invites for the V5 Plus launch in India on January 23 since last week. If that wasn’t enough to keep users interesting, a Malaysian third-party retailer has jumped the gun and listed the smartphone for pre-orders.
The listing contains all the specifications, along with the price for the smartphone. Vivo V5 Plus is priced at MYR 1,799 (Rs. 27,400) by the retailer.
The highlighting factor about the Vivo V5 Plus is the dual front-facing camera setup. Vivo is touting this as the best selfie camera for 2017. As for other specifications are concerned, the smartphone sports a 5.5-Inch Full HD display powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset with 4 gigs of RAM. Internal storage for V5 Plus stands at 64GB with expandable capabilities of up to 256 Gigabyte. All this will be powered by a 3160mAh battery that supports fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS.
Camera department of the Vivo V5 Plus comprises of a 16MP rear and dual-camera setup of 20 MP and 8 MP on the front.
Going by the listing, the smartphone measures 153.8×75.5×7.6 mm and weighs at 158.6 grams. Vivo V5 Plus will also support a fingerprint scanner on the front embedded into the home button. This will be the first time a dual-camera setup is used for the selfie shooter.
In case, you can’t remember, the V5 Plus was first unveiled in November alongside the Vivo V5. Since the event was all about Vivo V5 launch, no details regarding the V5 Plus were shared.
