The last we heard about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) was in November when we got to know that the phone would launch in four different colors. Today, the press renders of the phone in all the four colors have been leaked by Slashleaks. Apart from the image of the phone, some important specs have also been revealed today.
As you can see in the leaked image above, the Galaxy A5 2017 is expected to come in Gold, Blue, Pink, and Black color options. The phone could get a 5.2-inch 1080 x 1920 pixels Full HD screen. Powering the phone would be a 1.8GHz Exynos 7880 octa-core processor coupled with a Mali-T860 MP4 GPU. Under the hood, the phone will get 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
At the rear as well as the front, the 2017 Galaxy A5 will get 16MP cameras. Juiced by a 3000mAh battery, the phone will come pre-installed with Android 6.0. There will be a USB Type-C port too, and the phone will be 7.8mm thin. A fingerprint scanner is expected to be embedded in the home button. It is also being said that the device will be IP68 certified, meaning it will be waterproof in 10-feet of water for up to 30-minutes.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 is expected to be launched at the big CES 2017 event that will be held in the first week of January. We might also see the Galaxy A3 (2017) and Galaxy A7 (2017) getting unveiled at the same event.
Stay tuned for further updates.
