Android Nougat 7.0 Update to hit Samsung Devices Next Year

Samsung Tab S2 with 8-inch display too will get the Nougat release even if it doesn’t appear in the benchmarks. Still, no official release date has been confirmed. In fact, the flagship smartphones, Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge don’t have one too.

Now that the year-end is so close, we can safely assume that Nougat updates for Samsung devices will air in January or February next year. Let’s see if Samsung is fast enough to get the speculations right.

As far as Galaxy Tab S3, the successor is concerned, Samsung might take the wraps off the refreshed lineup next year with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Not much is known about the Tab S3, except the availability in two variants, the SM-T820 WiFi model, and the SM-T825 LTE model. The tablet should launch during the first quarter.

For those who don’t know, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is powered by Exynos 5433 processor or Qualcomm MSM8976 Snapdragon 652 with 3 Gigs of RAM. Camera department of the tablet comprises of 8 MP rear and 2.1 MP front shooter. This is Samsung’s Flagship product in tablet lineup with two models of 8-Inch and 9.7-Inch.
