As we all know, Quantico season 2 episode 9 didn’t air on its original air date, which was December 11. The show “Secret and Lies” was aired instead of it. This was because Quantico is on a holiday break, and will return in January 2017.
Quantico Season 2 Gets A New Air Date
According to the official twitter account of the writers behind Quantico, the show will return on January 23, 2017. Their tweet also revealed that the show will now have a new time slot, that is Monday’s night at 10 Pm. However, currently, the show “Conviction” is aired at 10 Pm on Monday, so Quantico will replace it and the show will have a new time slot.
Quantico Season 2 Episode 8 Recap
The last episode of Quantico “Odenvy”, which aired on November 27, revealed a big secret about Ryan. At the start of the episode, Ryan Booth got a chance to meet his co-AIC recruits. Everything was going fine until Alex Parrish discovered that Ryan is a terrorist, and is the very person behind all the problems being created. However, since the start of season 2, it was kind of known that Ryan will turn out to be a terrorist, so this sudden reveal was not that surprising.
However, if Ryan is on a mission, then that would not make him a terrorist at all. It might be later revealed that he had to break up with Alex just to spare her and save her life. But Alex is kind of making it hard for him to complete his mission as she keeps on interfering in it. Now, fans believe that if it keeps on going like this, then we can definitely expect to see a proposal scene soon. For now, all we can do is wait and see what the directors have in mind for us. All will be revealed once the show returns, that is on January 23rd.
Quantico To Get Cancelled?
On the other hand, many rumors regarding the cancellation of Quantico have surfaced, thus leaving many fans disheartened. The first season of the show did pretty well in rating, but the second season is doing poor. Its rating dropped to 40.02% as compared to the first season. The total views also dropped to 2.836 million. So if we look at it in a way, it wouldn’t be surprising if the creators decide to cancel the show.
